Andrew designed and made some built in wardrobes for our bedroom. We had some ideas and Andrew listened and responded thoughtfully to the brief. He made suggestions and sent several versions for us to view. In the design process he was meticulous and precise, as he was at all stages of the build. This attention to detail extended to every aspect, including offering us samples of several different types of finish.
I’ve known Andrew in his former professional life as a software developer and online project innovator and I’ve enjoyed seeing how he has applied these skills in a new context. He tackled things like irregularities in ceiling height with enthusiasm and good humour, spending time on details where it would have been easy to cut corners. The result is a beautiful piece, which is simple but elegant in design, solidly constructed and fully functional. The wardrobe is opposite our bed and it’s a very satisfying view to wake up to. We would recommend Andrew to anybody who wants good design and subtle craftsmanship in their home. We will be enjoying what he has made for years to come.
